Who We Are
Our founder, Matt Topas, was researching better ways to dispose of used fryer oils and avoid discharge into the sewer systems. Through his studies, he discovered that waste fryer oil can be converted into biodiesel fuel through a unique chemical process.
Seeing this as an opportunity to work towards a more environmentally friendly future, Matt established Atlantic BioFuels in 2008. Since then the company has expanded to include grease trap pumping, drain rescue, and hood cleaning. Together, we can work towards energy independence through renewable fuel.
